Eleanor Wright Johnston was the wife of Rev. Robert Johnston, the first pastor of the Scrubgrass Presbyterian Church. He served from 19 Oct 1803 - 3 Jan 1811.

Eleanor Wright was a daughter of Judge Wright. She married Rev. Johnston about 1802 and was deeply devoted to him and entered heartily into the spirit of his labors. On many of his missionary tours across Western Pennsylvania, she accompanied him on horseback, sharing his perils and hardships.
