Aaron S. Ridenour

Aaron S. Ridenour (1844-1914), son of Jacob and Nancy Mathias Ridenour. He lived in both Tyrone and Connellsville Twps., Fayette Co., PA, but moved to Warren, Ohio in 1911 where he died and is buried in Oakwood Cemetery there. He served in Co. G, 54th Regt. P.V.I. which was engaged in the capture of Morgan's Raiders during the Civil War. He lost his eye as a child when his sister accidentally stabbed him with scissors while playing at the table. He was United Brethren and served as the treasurer of the Connellsville U.B. Church.
