Abraham K. Stauffer

Abraham K. Stauffer (1838-1918) son of John M. and Katrina Sherrick Stauffer. He married Katherine Slonaker. He and his brother Joseph R. Stauffer purchased their father's milling business in Tyrone Twp., Fayette Co., PA and later operated a coal mine and coke ovens on the property. Abraham was influential in the development of Scottdale.
