Susanna Garren Barben was born October 3, 1827 in Cumberland County, New Jersey. She was the daughter of Burbridge and Nancy Garren.
Susanna married Alexander Barben and lived on their farm in Wayne Twp., Mifflin County. They were the parents of nine children.
Susanna is buried in Newton Hamilton Memorial Cemetery, Newton Hamilton.
