Seamen Picked Up After 2 Weeks In Lifeboat
Rapidly recovering at a naval hospital on Paris Island, South Carolina, are these three Norwegian seamen. Left to right are Carl C. Larsen. seaman. Johannes Hauge, gunner, and Elnar Olsen, fireman. With ten other survivors they were picked up by a U.S. coast guard vessel after having drifted on the Atlantic for two weeks. 1940's
