Would like to have someone who knows this person in the photo to contact me. I have been told the man may be George Washington Smith (1837 - 1904) from Anderson Co, SC and lived in the Greenville/Laurens Co, SC areas.

This may be my great grand father George Washington Smith (12/12/1837 - 10/15/1904). I've never actually seen a picture of my great grandfather. He is buried in Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetary in Piedmont, SC. George Washington Smith was married to Eliza Jane Cooper (5/30/1934 - 11/26/1905). May I ask where you got this picture from and what other decendents you may be related to? I'm curious if we are somehow related. Feel free to email me if you have any more questions.

My great grandfather's name was George Washington Smith and his son was George Henry Dee Smith born in Georgia,migrated to Arkansas and then Oklahoma.
