Anton Hanslian

This is my grandfather, grandmother and great aunt.

Anton Hanslian

to all- yes, Anton Hanslian is my grandfather. I have all the proof of this. He and his wife, my grandmother, gave my father to his "adopted parents" in New York when my father was born in 1907,. in Jersey City Heights, N.J. Anton said he would come back for my Dad when he and my Grandma and their daughter, my Aunt, finished their trek, but my Grandma died 5 months later in Sunderland,England, and Anton never came back for my Dad. Thank God he didn't, because my Dad met my Mom in New York and married her, and I and 4 other children were born. We have never found Anton, (my Grandfather). I know my aunt moved to Germany and got married. I have a letter written to my Dad from her in the early 1930's. still looking for Anton, tho. He might have gone to Germany too. Then WW11 happened.........Nancy Ann (Lorenz) Cole

I found out my Aunt Leopoldine Hanslian ( the little girl in the carriage) went to Germany, had married a man by the name of Paul Pirka, and he died in Dachau Prison ...Leopoldine probably was with him there, and died there too...but the Germans normally did not list the females names....they were considered not important to them.....
now, Anton, I have never found out what happened to him....did he stay in Germany ? did he die in the bombing there ? if anyone finds out what happened to him, please let me know......

These are my grandparents. I

These are my grandparents. I am trying to find out what happened to Anton Hanslian, my grandfather.
