Salt Lake City circa 1897. The photograph is taken to the NNW from the clock tower on the Salt Lake City and County Building at Washington Square. The building to the right in the photo is the old Auerbach Building at the corner of State Street and Third Street South. In the background on the right the Salt Lake Temple can be faintly seen. The First Central Methodist Church is near the center of the photo.
