Duchesne, Utah Baseball Team, abt 1898-1905

This is a photo of the Duchesne, Utah Baseball team. My Grandfather is on the lower left, sitting on the ground with legs crossed. His name was Charlie Barton, I think this was taken in 1898-1905 some where in that time frame.

Duchesne baseball team
This photo could not have been taken as early as posted. Duchesne and the surrounding area was part of the Ute Indian Reservation and was not opened for homesteading till 1905. It would be several years before a baseball team could be organized and given uniforms. My guess is that the photo was taken sometime closer to 1920. Though I had relatives living there at the time, I don't recognize anyone in the photo, unfortunately.
