Henry Marshall Armistead Family

Henry Marshall Armistead Family

Found this photo in a Crystal Hill, Arkansas antique store. Labeled on the back "Henry Marshall Armistead and Elizabeth Murphy Armistead"

This would appear to be:
Henry Marshall Armistead Sr.
born 15 Mar 1874 in Fauquier County, Virginia
died 10 Mar 1958 in Little Rock, Pulaski, Arkansas

son of Bowles Edward Armistead and Elizabeth Lewis Marshall
husband of Elizabeth Joan Murphy
father of Lewis Addison Armistead
father of Henry Marshall Armistead, Jr.
father of George Murphy Armistead

Henry graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1895 and established the law firm of Cockrill and Armistead in Little Rock which was located in the Southern Building.

Elizabeth Joan Armistead (possibly Jean)
born 11 Aug 1877 in Arkansas
died 23 May 1964 in Little Rock, Pulaski, Arkansas
daughter of Colonel George Washington Murphy and Sarah Harris Haltom (Sallie)

Colonel Murphy established the law firm of Wood, Smith, Schnipper, Clay & Vines in Hot Springs, Arkansas which is still in existence. Colonel Murphy was hired by the NAACP to represent the defendants in the Elaine Race Riot trial. He hired black lawyer Scipio Africanus Jones to assist him. Colonel Murphy died before the trial was complete leading to Scipio Jones taking over the defense and achieving the historic result.

The two boys in the photo are obviously two of the children of Henry and Bessie but I am unable to identify which two of the three sons they are.
