Arthur/Griffith/Price connection ??

Mike, I just came across your pictures on Family Old Photos. My maiden name was Arthur and I am very curious about some of the pictures and info that you have posted. I also have a John L. Arthur and Mary Ann Unknown, that were married in Kanawha County in 1855. This Ardenia that you posted has a birth year of 1856 and I also have the name Ardenia Arthur with another family in my file. My John is the son of John T. Arthur and Elizabeth Hackworth. I also have some of the same Griffith/Price line in my files that you have family pictures of. I would love to share info and see if there is a connection. Please contact me by e-mail so we can get in touch with each other. Thank you for the help! This is exciting!

John Arthur and Elizabeth (Betsy) Hackworth

I am trying to find the parents of my Ancestor Mastin H. Arthur, born Bedford Co. Virginia in 1808. According to a biographical sketch he moved with his partents to Tennesee when a young boy then in 1829 he can be found in Pike County, Missouri. His oldest son was named John James Arthur, he had one more son he named Wiliam B Arthur. I assume one of the sons was named after Mastin's father. I also wonder if his middle initial (H) may be for Hackworth. I have researched Tennesee census reoords and find a John Arthur there in 1820 census Franklin County Tennesee. Do you have a list of children or any suggestions that might help me follow John and Elizabeth Arthur and family?
Thanks
Steve Kemp
