Cousin Jim Rice and one of his hot rods

Cousin Jim Rice and one of his hot rods

On the farm in Wisconsin Cousin Jim was a great mechanic as all farmers were and are today. He raced cars on the track and all his street cars were souped up with big engines. This MG has a V8 Overhead Valve engine in it. One night Jim got the road mixed up with the track and lost his life.

Cousin Jim Rice

Hi, I live in a house in Elgin, IL that at one time belonged to a Jim Rice that used to build racecars ('55 Chevy.) We've heard stories from a neighbor, but I just find the guy very intriguing, from what we understand he was unfortunately killed in a street racing motorcycle accident in either '88 or '89. If you could provide any information about your cousin my family and myself would be very appreciative.
