This picture was found at the Humphrey-Terwilliger farm, Millcreek Twp, Clarion Co, PA. It is not label, and there is no studio imprint. The mount color is thick and grey, and the edges are round. It was taken outside a striped barn, and the woman is holding a horse’s bridle with her right hand, and the horse has white on three of it's hooves. She is wearing a long, narrow black sleeveless jumper with a long sleeved white blouse and a wide black belt. The neckline is a scoop neck with no buttons and a bow. Her jewelry is a necklace and a bracelet on right wrist. Her hair is dark and is pulled back over her ears. She is wearing white stockings and open black shoes with a cross over foot.

The barn at the farm is not striped and does not have vents, so I have no idea where it was taken.

Barn Raising at home of William and Ida Stroup 1923

This photo, taken in 1923, was taken during the building of a new barn on the site of the farm owned originally by William Stroup's grandfather George Stroup (1790-1846), who is believed to have been buried near the site of this barn.This farm is still owned by descendants of George Stroup and is located near Homeworth OH. The barn still stands.
