The picture is on a postcard that was sent to Marlene's great grandfather Bush, in Gobleville, MI.

The little boy in the very front is Harold M. Hunter, the son of Elmer Hunter and Marian Hunter Hunter and grandson of Edgar Edward Hunter and Elda Cole-Hunter of Hartstown.

According to the Crawford County School Directory for 1913-14, Jennie Hazen was the teacher at Hartstown school. It's possible she is the teacher, back row center, in the photograph.

The business was located northeast of the Bessemer Depot on the east side of the tracks.
