Bessie Johnson/Johnston Rusu

Bessie Johnson/Johnston Rusu, the daughter of Samuel and Charlotte Temple Dover Johnson/Johnston.

Bessie married to George Rusu and had 16 children. Bessie was born in TN and moved to Lawrence Co., PA in the 1920s. They eventually moved to Youngstown, Ohio.

She is the sister of Lucius Eugene, William Sidney, Beulah Mildred (who married Alexandru Cioca/Choco), Arthur Odell, Beatrice Isabel, Hubert Leon Samuel (father of the submitter).

Submitted by Sheri Slater, niece of Bessie Johnson/Johnston Rusu and daughter of Hubert Leon Samuel. Bea Mansfield is also a niece.

Joseph Alben Kelly, first row, was the son of was Aaron Kelly of Butler Co., PA. Aaron Kelly married Ruth Ann Hale Smiley in May 1834. They became the parents of: Ellsy Ann Kelly (b.1835), Joseph Alben Kelly (b. Jan 27, 1837), Samuel Hale Kelly (b. 1838, married Sarah Jane Thompson, lived in Shenango Twp), Thomas J. Kelly (b.1841), William Kelly (b. 1844), John Kelly (twin of Margaret Kelly, b. Mar 29, 1851 in Ohio), Margaret Mahala Kelly (twin of John, married Samuel Law), Ellen Kelly (b. 1854).
