Marion Dunham Hidinger

Marion Dunham married Daniel Hidinger. They owned the Meat Market in West Hickory, Forest county, Pa.

Marion was the daughter of William S. Dunham and Sarah VanSchoonhoven, and the sister of Shelby Edward Dunham. She was born 1867.

Everyone called her "Aunt Maine."

The Hidlingers had no children.

Shelby Edward Dunham, born 1883, died 1963, lived Warren and Forest Counties, PA. Son of William S. and Sarah VanSchoonhoven Dunham.

He married Anna L. Huff Gunn Egan. They became the parents of:

* Geneva Dunham, married Frank C Hile.
* Shelby William Dunham, married Violet Bessey
* Alice L Dunham, married Pearl Beane.

Frank Charles Hile born 1901, died 1951, married Geneva Dunham.

Harry E. Hile, born 1907, died 1981, married Nancy unknown.

Claude Leonard Hile, born 1903, died 1960. Never married. Veteran of World War II.

All are the sons of George McMurray Hile and Viola King, and were born in Rimersburg, Clarion county, PA.

Frank moved to Forest county in 1920s.

Samuel Black and his brothers

Samuel Black, born 1866, lived in Deerfield Township Warren county, Pa, married Alice Vaneps Gunn, June 1904. Samuel was her second husband.

Sam is sitting in middle in front. The other men in the photo are his brothers.

From left, Milton Black, Charles Black, James Black, Francis Black. [Note from submitter: Unsure of the order of his brothers, used their age in census from oldest to youngest and fit age to looks, for identification.]

Samuel and Alice's children were:

* Hazel Black, married to Lloyd E Slater.

Geneva Dunham Hile, born in Trunkeyville 1916, died 2000.

She was the daughter of Shelby E Dunham and Anna L. Huff.

She married Frank C. Hile and lived in Forest County, PA, all her life.

Ernest Claude Huff

Ernest Claude Huff, born 1883 Davy Hill, Warren county, Pa, died June 21 1961, at Erie Vets Hospital, Veteran of WW1, 28th Division, served in France.

He was a half brother to Anna Huff Dunham.

Alice L. Dunham Beane, born 1926, Trunkeyville, Forest County Pa, daughter of Shelby Edward Dunham and Anna L Huff.

She married Pearl Beane. He was killed in World War II.

Alice L. Dunham Beane died in 1948.

Daniel Hidinger and an unknown man

Daniel Hidinger, who was born in the 1860s, is the man in the apron. He owned a meat market in West Hickory, Forest County, PA. Dan married Marion Dunham, a sister to Shelby Edward Dunham. Dan died in 1930.

Man on right of picture is unidentified.
