Leon Ayotte was born in 1866 in Wells, Vermont, to Alex and Caroline Ayotte.

He went to Montana with his father in 1881, and left the area around 1892.

He married in 1899 to Myrtle Back in Idaho, then moved to Eugene, Oregon in 1930, where he farmed. He died there in 1957.

Effie, daughter of Alex Ayotte and his first wife, married second Frank Divine in Montana.

Effie Ayotte, daughter of Alex Ayotte and his first wife, Caroline, was born 1864 in Wells, Vermont.

She moved to Montana with her father ca 1879, where she married William W. Mabee.

Alex Ayotte was born in Quebec, moved to Wells, Vermont as a child, and served in the Civil War.

When his wife Caroline died he went to Montana where he was Deputy US Marshall.

He married Jenny Brown of Chicago and had 2 daughters, Ellen and Ethel. He died 1893 in Chicago.
