 <title>Margaret Beam Hoffman</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;Margaret Beam Hoffman was born in 1842 at Pleasant Grove, Schooley&#039;s Mountain, Morris County, NJ and died five days before Christmas in 1887. Her parents were William Beam and Rachel Fritts Beam.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;She married was George Hoffman, a stone mason. Her children were: Andrew Jackson Hoffman (1866-1923), Steward B. Hoffman (b. 1869), Mary E. Hoffman (b. 1871), Eliza J. (Lizzie) Hoffman (b. 1874), George Hoffman (b. 1876), Theodore C. Hoffman (b. 1879), Jennie Hoffman (b. 1881), Harriet S. Hoffman (1883-1967)the submitter&#039;s grandmother; and Louella (Lulu) Hoffman, b. 1885.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Margaret is buried at Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Cemetery, Morris County, NJ. Her tombstone reads: &quot;Go home dear husband... dry your tears.&quot; &lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Harriet Hoffman Sliker</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;Harriet Hoffman Sliker, taken in 1908. Harriet was born on October 28, 1884 at Pleasant Grove on Schooley&#039;s Mountain, NJ. Her parents were George and Margaret Beam Hoffman. In 1905, Harriet was married to Lewis Arthur Sliker (born April 10, 1873 in Mansfield, Warren County, NJ and died in 1918 at Morristown, NJ). They had two children: Thelma (born in 1908, died in 1976 in Hackettstown, NJ) and Nelson (my father, born in 1913 and died in 1967 in Wayne, NJ).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This is a closeup from a large portrait of the Sliker family. Harriet is holding baby Thelma.&lt;/p&gt;

 <description>&lt;p&gt;George Hoffman, was born on March 2, 1825 in Middle Valley, Washington Township, Morris County, NJ. George was a son of William Henry Hoffman (born August 12, 1785 in Cokesbury, Hunterdon County, NJ and died on August 28, 1838) and Ann Trimmer (born April 25, 1793 and died July 17, 1869). George Hoffman was a stone mason. He was married to Caroline Price, who died on March 23, 1863. His second wife was Margaret Beam, my great grandmother) who was born on Dec. 1, 1842 and died on Dec. 20, 1887.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;George and Margaret lived in Pleasant Grove, on Schooley&#039;s Mountain, Morris County, NJ. Their children were: Andrew Jackson Hoffman (1866-1923), Steward B. Hoffman (b. 1869), Mary E.
