Isabelle was known as Belle (Adkins) Smith born 1873 Massac Co., IL to the parents of Samuel Andew Adkins and Sarah Rebecca Stice. She married Jefferson Davis "Jeff" Smith 1888 Bakersfield, Howell Co., MO. They later moved to Wetumka, Hughes Co., OK. Belle died 1968 -- Wetumka, Hughes Co., OK

The baby she is hold is probably Robert J. "Bob" Smith. Photo taken in Wetumka prob. after 1912. This is when Bob was born.

I have not heard from you in long time. I can't see good now days. I am 92 in this month. I had nice Mother Day. I have the best of care and every bodie is so nice to me. I can walk little. Gold and me live alone. We have T.V. and a Radio. I get sermon in the radio. I would like to hear from you and all of the children and the Whitson children in TX. Lola I don't no if you can read this or not. I can't see good. I would like for you to visit me. I can not get around very good. I can not go to church any more. As ever your sister an law, Belle
