Postcard portrait of Chester Kimball and Oliver Shoe. After the 1916 death of Oliver's mother, Kate Coffman Shoe, his sister, Vera Shoe Kimball, raised their little brother Carl along with her own son, Chester. Oliver was an uncle and practically an older brother to Chester.
