Maria Anna "Mary Ann" Stimmel, daughter of Isaac Stimmel and Salome L. "Sarah Guinther, married 1) Samuel Moyer on 4 Oct 1858 in Berks County, PA, and married 2) John Adam "Jack" Ruppert on 25 Oct 1876 in Wauseon, Wauseon, Ohio.

Florence Thompson Warren

Florence Thompson Warren claimed to be born at Cook County Hospital, Chicago, IL., on 4/16/1920. Her parents were Ada Hardy and Edward Thompson.

Her true identify or any trace of her parents or any other relatives has never been verified. She died 11/22/1990. There was no family of hers to notify of her passing.

She turned up living during 1939 through 1943 on 411 Gordon Street in Reading, PA, with friends.

In Reading, PA she was a thin woman with dark blonde hair and brown eyes. In 1943 she suddenly ran away from Reading and turned up living in the subway stations in New York City. She then gained considerable weight and dyed her hair a dark red. Her blonde roots can be seen in the photo.

She met and married Alfred Blow/Bleau in 1944. Six years later they settled in Nashua, NH with their first 3 children. She behaved all her life as though she were in hiding. She gave me the middle name of Ellis, which could have been a family name.

If anyone recognizes her, please me know.

M. Lynch and John Barthold previously played for Wilmington, according to the Daily Gazette and Bulletin, Williamsport, Pa, May 4, 1908.

Frank Baker played for the Philadelphia Athletics (1908-1914) and the New York Yankees (1916-1922). More on Frank Baker from The Baseball Page.

Jack Lelivelt played for Cleveland (1914), Kansas City (1915-17), Louisville (1918) and Minneapolis (1919). He managed the Los Angeles Angels from 1929-1936. Levivelt died of a heart attack in 1941. More on Jack Lelivelt.

Harry H. Stimmel, born Oct 1873 in Berks County, PA, was adopted by his aunt, Sarah Ann "Sallie" Stimmel, and her husband, Jonathan L. Yoder, who were married in 1858. Isaac Stimmel Jr.'s first wife, Kitilia, died before 1876 and Isaac remarried. Maybe Harry was their son. The obituary of Sallie states that they adopted two sons: Harry Stimmel and Jonathan Burkett. Harry married Katie F. Heydt in 1895 in Berks County, PA, and had at least three children.
