 <title>Foster James Heacock </title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;Foster James Heacock was principal of the Butler Business College from around 1894 until May 1897. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He was born in McLean Co., Illinois on Sept. 22, 1869 and died in Dayton, Ohio on May 3, 1939. He was a Quaker by birth and faith and also an agriculturist, historian, and teacher.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Photo taken at the Wagner Studio,  141 S. Main St. in Butler, PA about 1896.&lt;/p&gt;

 <description>&lt;p&gt;St. Paul&#039;s Orphan&#039;s Home was part of the Soldiers&#039; Orphans Home System.  &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;According to the Annual Report of the Superintendent of Soldiers&#039; Orphans of Pennsylvania for the Year 1880, to reach St. Paul&#039;s Orphan&#039;s Home travel &quot;Via West Pennsylvania road or Allegheny Valley railroad to Freeport; thence to Butler by Butler Branch railroad.&quot;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The home was later relocated to Greenville, Mercer County, PA&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Rev. P. C. Prugh</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;Rev. P C. Prugh was born on a farm in Montgomery Co., OH, near the city of Dayton, 13 Sept 1822.  He graduated from Marshall College and the Eastern Theological Seminary at Mercersburg. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He married Charlotte Hassler of Mercersburg in 1852.  They were the parents of eleven children,  seven of the children reached adulthood, including:  Rev. John H. Prugh, D.D., Etta Kathleen Prugh, and Mary A., wife of Rev. D. N. Harnish, pastor for many years of St. Paul&#039;s Reformed Church in Butler.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Rev. Prugh was the pastor at the Reformed Church at Xenia, OH for 22 years.  He also pastored churches in Cincinnati and Germantown, OH. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Rev. P. C. Prugh was the Superintendent of the St. Paul&#039;s Orphans Home in Butler County, PA from 1882-1903.&lt;/p&gt;
