Wesley Morise [?] Doverspike was born Feb 23 1867 in Putneyville, Armstrong County, PA, and died Dec 1945 (78 years 9 months 22 days) in Mahoning Township, Armstrong County, PA, and buried Dec17 1945 in Mt Zion Cemetery, Armstrong County, PA.

He was a farmer and the son of George Doverspike and Sarah Gumbert. At age 36, he married Martha E. Ferguson, age 33, on Dec 4, 1903. She was the resided in in Putneyville and was the daughter of Jos. and Matilda Ferguson.

Philip Boyd Doverspike was born Feb 1880 in Red Bank Township
Armstrong Co., PA, son of George H. and Selina Catherine Doverspike. George H. Doverspike the son of Philip Doverspike (of H) and Ellen Jane Pence was born in Armstrong Co., PA, Feb 9 1855 and died at age 82 years 5 months 6 days, on Jun 15 1937 in North Apollo, Armstrong Co., PA. He was buried Jun 17 1937 in Vandergrift, Westmoreland Co., PA. George H. Doverspike was a Farmer.

Philip Boyd Doverspike was employed as a miner. Residing in Mc Williams, PA, he married at age 21, Flora E. Mohney, age 22, residing in Oak Ridge, PA, on Aug 13 1901. She was born 1880 in Red Bank Township, Armstrong Co., the daughter of Samuel G. and Rebecca Mohney. She died in 1920, and is buried in New Salem At Pierce, Red Bank Township Armstrong Co., PA.

Philip Boyd Doverspike died in 1949.

Philip and Flora became the parents of Philip B. Doverspike was born Dec 17 1906 in Armstrong Co., PA and died Oct 29 1878, at age 71, in Harrison Township, Allegheny Co., PA and was buried Oct 31 1978 in Pine Run Reformed Church Cemetery, Washington Township, Westmoreland Co., PA. He was employed as a Machinist. He married Lavina Kohler.

Samuel Gruver was born 1847 in PA, and died 1925 in Red Bank Township. He is buried in New Salem Cemetery at Pierce, Red Bank Township, Armstrong Co., PA.

He married Sarah Kunselman. She was born 1854 in PA and died 1902 and is buried along side her husband in New Salem Cemetery.

Homer E. Gruver born 1876 in Red Bank Township, Armstrong Co., PA and died in1950 in Porter Township, Clarion Co., PA and is buried in New Bethlehem Cemetery, Porter Township, Clarion Co. PA. He married Bertha Miller. She was born 1876 in Red Bank Township and died in 1951 in Porter Township Clarion Co. PA and is buried in New
Bethlehem Cemetery Porter Township Clarion Co. PA.

George P. Gruver was 1879 born in Red Bank Township, Armstrong Co., PA and died 1952 in Red Bank Township, Armstrong Co., PA and is buried in New Salem Cemetery. He married Judy S. Maud. She was born 1884 and died 1957 and buried in New Salem Cemetery.

Curtis Gruver married Huldah Boddorf.

Elva Selvina Gruver was born 1887 in Red Bank Township, Armstrong Co. PA and died 12 Dec 1930 in Red Bank Township, Armstrong Co. PA and is buried in New Salem Cemetery at Pierce PA. She married Edward Henry Doverspike on 25 Dec 1902. He was born 12 Mar 1884 in Red Bank Township, Clarion Co., PA and died June 1952 in Red Bank Township, Armstrong Co. PA and is buried in New Salem Cemetery.

Clair A. Gruver was born 1891 in Red Bank Township, Armstrong Co. PA, and died 1972 in and buried in New Salem Cemetery. He married Ortenza E. Shick. She was born 1891 in PA and died 1977 and is buried in New Salem Cemetery.

Alvie Gruver married Magie Minnie Troup.

D. 3 - Buttermilk Hill Franklin, PA but, he actually lived in Canal Venango Co., PA. He was buried Apr 3 1965 in Mt Tabor, Red Bank Township, Armstrong Co., PA. Occupation, Machinist at Joy Mfg. Co. He married Mable Miller. He was the son of William Doverspike and Nora George.

The following is from the Marriage License of William M. Doverspike and Nora S. George.

William M. Doverspike, age 22, residinging at New Mayville, PA, married Apr 24 1907 Nora S. George, age 19, also residing at New Mayville, PA. The services were performed by R. Franklin Main, Minister of the Gospel near New Mayville, Armstrong Co., PA. Signed in the presence of M. Hanky, Oak Ridge, PA and L. Miller Oak Ridge, PA.

He was a laborer and the son of George and Mary Doverspike. Nora S. George was the daughter of Jacob Amanda E. George.
