Ida was born April 19, 1896 in Carver County, MN and died Dec. 19, 1996 in Rockford, Winnebago Co., IL.

She was the daughter of Alfred Andersson Blomquist and Augusta Johansdotter Nord. She married Nils John Larson in 1923.

Brothers with Armed Forces: Charles and Ralph Powell

Charles (Bud) Powell, who enlisted in the US Army six weeks ago is now stationed at Camp Grant, Rockford, in the medical detachment. His brother Ralph, who enlisted in the U.S. Navy in December of 1938 is a shipfitter, first class. When last heard from he was stationed on the Pacific coast. They are the sons of Mrs. Mary Nation of 416 North Rutledge Street. Mrs. Nation is commander of the Neville Hollis Navy Mothers club no. 69. This article part of a scrap book on WW11. All the men seem to be from the state of Illinois.
