 <description>&lt;p&gt;Born, January 14, 1849 in Vestre Slidre, Valdres, Oppland, Norway&lt;br /&gt;
Came to the U.S.A. in about 1871.  Settled first in Wisconsin and then Minnesota.&lt;br /&gt;
Knut was a accomplished Hardanger Fiddle player with some success in Norway and here in the U.S. He died September 7, 1908. Buried at Arlington Municipal Cemetery, Arlington, Washington&lt;/p&gt;
